What sets me apart

Sound knowledge

I studied psychology directly after graduating from high school without waiting. I am certified in various techniques and only use methods whose effectiveness I can explain based on their effects on the brain and nervous system. I have been working in the exciting and broad field of mental health for 20 years. Ongoing professional development helps me stay up to date with the latest knowledge in my therapeutic approaches. Psychoeducation is always an important element in my work – you should also understand what is happening in your psyche and your inner life. Knowledge is empowerment.

Working with your nervous system

For me, coaching and therapy aren't always just talking, reinforcing stressful memories without providing a solution. Instead we work with your nervous system to de-stress the corresponding reaction. This way, what we've developed through psychotherapy becomes firmly anchored in your body.

My intuition

As an intuitively sensitive person, I offer you my sensitive perception. This allows us to uncover the underlying causes of your issue more quickly and clearly. If you too are sensitive and intuitive, I can show you how to live well and sustainably with your sensitivity without judging or devaluing yourself for it, but rather celebrating it as a strength!

Self-help tools

With me, you'll learn various tools that you can use to help yourself and regulate your emotions. This will help you become self-effective and autonomous. Since everyone is different, you'll learn techniques from a wide range of disciplines so you can choose what works best for you. Taking care of yourself when you're not feeling well is empowering!

Free choice of therapy methods

As a naturopathic practitioner specializing in psychotherapy (German Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie), I am free to choose my therapy methods in my private practice and am not tied to a single procedure or the benefits offered by statutory health insurance providers. I work integratively, combining various approaches to find the right fit for you at a given time.

Privacy

Since I bill you privately, no insurance company or employer will know that you are seeking support. Your visit to me will not be recorded. This can be important for potential civil service or promotion processes. As a naturopathic practitioner specializing in psychotherapy (German Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie), I am, of course, bound by confidentiality.

Please clarify whether your private (supplementary) insurance will cover the costs yourself.

Many years of self-experience

The quality of a process facilitator is determined not only by in-depth knowledge but also by working on their own issues. As part of my training, I have accumulated many hours of firsthand experience in the processes I offer. Because you can only guide someone to where you have already been yourself.

All your parts in view

I assume that every person's psyche is made up of different parts. That's good and healthy. Keeping all parts in mind in psychotherapy, especially those who perhaps don't want change at all or are even afraid of it, is a real game-changer. This applies especially to people for whom other methods haven't really worked, even if they don't know why. ALL of your parts are welcome with me! Even the skeptical ones, the anxious ones, those who can't or don't want to trust, and even those who have absolutely no desire for coaching.

Short notice appointment sheduling

There are no months-long waiting times with me. I can usually offer you an appointment within 2 weeks. In addition, after the initial consultation, the extra waiting time for possible assessments that would be necessary for coverage by statutory health insurance is eliminated with me. Appointments are scheduled with you individually, as often as is right for you in your current situation.

No New Age/Esoterics

In the alternative coaching and psychotherapy scene, there has been growing interest in spirituality in recent years. While spirituality – especially for trauma survivors – can be a very valuable resource, there is often a wild proliferation of esoteric methods that have been adopted from the New Age into psychotherapy. There are indeed bad and harmful forms of spirituality! In my work, I distance myself from esoteric methods, so my services are particularly suitable for religious or devout people.
